Cardio before or after lifting?

Here is a huge question when weight training. Should i do my cardio before or after lifting?

Once your done with cardio your energy sources may be used up.Since you reap the most benefits from the last two or three reps of your weight lifting, it is very important that you have the energy it takes to get those good reps in. Now, if you do a hard cardio workout prior to lifting, the energy you need will not be available. What happens when you are constantly working out with little to no energy? You can actually lose strength because your muscles eventually get discouraged from being able to lift as much.

Cardio burns fat and carbs so if you do your cardio first, the carbs may not be there to fuel your weight lifting. If you are doing your cardio after your weight lifting, all the carbs are burned so all that is left is the unwanted fats. Be sure to keep your cardio at a decent pace, if your working cardio too fast then it will start to burn carbs, but since your carbs are burned from weight lifting then it will burn the protein. If you are not consuming enough protein and working cardio at a fast pace, you will actually burn muscle. Remember, if your working cardio too slow then you will not burn enough fat and may see little or no results. So here's a recap.

1.Consume your protein and carbs before the gym.
2.Go through your weight training with full energy and burn the carbs.
3.Work your cardio at a decent pace to finish off that unwanted fat.

I would say anywhere from 20mins to an hour. Decent pace meaning dont gas yourself out. Its better to jog for an hour then it is to run for 15 mins lol
